He has a specialization in spine surgery as well as research in spine biomechanics at Loyola University Hospital and VA Veterans Hospital in Chicago, USA (Clinical and research Fellowship on spine surgery and Spine biomechanics, Loyola University, Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation and VA Veterans Hospital, Chicago, USA). Upon his return to Greece in July 2014, he founded and became the Director of the linic of Endoscopic & Minimal Invasive Surgery of the Spine (M.I.S.S.) at "IASO General" Hospital in Athens, which since August 2018 has been renamed "Metropolitan General".
