Mr. Paschalis Gkikas studied Medicine at the Medical School of Bologna in Italy. He has worked at the “Vardakeio and Proio” General Hospital of Syros, at the 1st Hospital of the Social Insurance Institute (Papadimitriou) and at the “KAT” General Hospital of Attica. He completed his specialty in Psychiatry at the “Dafni" Attica Psychiatric Hospital, where he worked at the 3rd Psychiatric Emergency Department, at the 18 ANO Addiction Unit, Department of Problematic Internet Use, and at the Mental Health Centre of Peristeri.
Alongside her specialization in Psychiatry, she specialized in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) as well as in Family Systemic Psychotherapy at the corresponding unit of the Psychiatric Hospital in Pagrati.
He was a co-therapist of psychotherapy groups of the 18 ANO programme and has participated in the awareness-raising of many schools on internet safety and addiction in the context of the Ariadni programme.
He was a Scientific Associate of the Ariadne Programme at the 2nd Child Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Athens and the 3rd Psychiatric Clinic at the Attica Psychiatric Hospital "Dafni". He worked as a Consultant Expert in a company supporting accident victims and as a Trainer in a certified Lifelong Learning Centre offering specialized professional training programs in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT). He works as a Supervising Psychiatrist at two EPAPSY and one ALTHAIA boarding schools and as the Scientific Director of the psychiatric and rTMS department of the Smart CNS Center model group practice.
