Mr. Andreas Vardiampasis is a Psychiatrist, Director of the National Health System (NHS), and Head of the Mental Health Center of Rethymno. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of mental disorders, including: mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder, dysthymia), anxiety disorders (panic disorder, phobias, generalized anxiety disorder, etc.), psychotic disorders (schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, etc.), obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, and memory disorders (dementia). He has a special interest and extensive clinical and research experience in perinatal and reproductive psychiatry (postpartum depression, pregnancy depression, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, etc.). He is the Scientific Director of the Memory Disorders Clinic at the Rethymno Mental Health Center.Additionally, he has significant experience as a psychiatric expert witness and consultant (cases of legal capacity, criminal responsibility, etc.). He has been actively involved in numerous conferences and has over 60 publications and presentations in Greek and international conferences and journals.
